B-29 by RockHPI

At long last, the B-29 is finished! The paint scheme is taken from many different B-29s I looked at.

Feel free to post at any skin site or to make any corrections or updates, but please e-mail the improvements to me!

Areas for improvement: The stars on the wing came out looking funny-since the wing is so much longer than the B-17, the skin is stretched a lot and I had a hard time getting the stars right.

The transparent nose is transparent thru the entire body of the plane! I seem to remember a fix for that mentioned long ago but I'm not sure what it was. Part of the windows on the left side of the plane are NOT transparent-it's part of the pbb17n 3dz and I tried to make it transparent with the text editor but its structure appears to be different.

Speaking of the pbb17n 3dz, it's "squeezed" to fit the B-29-this just means that any nose art you make for the pbb17n.tpc must be stretched out so it'll appear OK when squeezed.

The defensive gun-flashes do not match the positions of the turrets. I've been told that aircraftedit will fix this but I'm not familiar with the program. Also, since the B-17 only has two turrets, I had to only include the two forward turrets on the B-29. If you can model the two rears, please do.

Ok, after listing all that's wrong, I hope you'll agree with me that these are issues you can only see on "pause" and zoomed in close. Once you're in the air shooting at it, you shouldn't notice (except perhaps for the gun flashes).
